Playing Resumé:
Anne began playing at school aged 13 and joined Newmains Band in 1979. She joined CWS (Glasgow) in 1986 and enjoyed many successes there, winning the Scottish Championships twice and the National Championships in 1990. She became a member of Whitburn Band in 1992 and again enjoyed many successes, winning the Scottish Championships twice and gaining second place in the British Open Championships. She was a member of the Whitburn ensemble that won the Scottish Championships three years in a row. Anne has appeared as a soloist with bands on many CD and radio recordings and is currently enjoying success as a composer / arranger and conductor.
