Playing Resumé:
Robert started playing cornet aged 12, moving to tenor horn, then baritone, then euphonium before joining his brother, Graham, at Whitburn on Eb bass in January 2004.
He has played with many bands in Scotland, including Broxburn Public and Newtongrange. Robert is a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and a former conductor of Newland Concert Brass. In his first contest, he led them to third place in the Scottish Fourth Section in March 2008.
